ZIAIRE is a fashion brand with global vision, specializing in modern African print accessories, jewelry, and made-to-measure clothing. Founded by Aamina Haykal, a Nigerian and Congolese American designer, ZIAIRE is the go-to destination for anyone looking to weave bold, colorful, and unique pieces into their wardrobe.

At the age of 7, Aamina knew she wanted to be a designer. She was inspired by watching her mother sew. After studying Fashion Design at Columbia College Chicago, Aamina decided to combine her love for fashion with her heritage, and create a brand that could speak to the beauty of African textiles and patterns.

ZIAIRE’s designs are influenced by the rich and diverse cultures of the African diaspora, using locally sourced prints and fabric to create modern, statement accessories and stylish silhouettes that are bold, structured, and versatile. Our bespoke garments are tailored to empower people of all shapes, sizes, and genders encouraging our community to embrace their individuality and express their personal style.

ZIAIRE commits itself, fully, to sustainable business practices and fair-trade labor. All pieces are handmade in the US or Nigeria. Fabric is sourced from both West Africa, and Black-owned businesses, supporting the growth and development of the Black community.
